Dear Valued Clients:

Babcock Laboratories’ testing services are essential to continuing to protect public health during this unprecedented time. We have never wavered from our commitment to safeguarding our community, and as such the safety of our clients and our dedicated employee-owners is of the utmost importance. To continue critical testing operations while ensuring the safety of our clients and staff, we have implemented new protocol in response to COVID-19.

We ask for your assistance in preventing the spread of this novel coronavirus:

  • Please instruct all persons engaged in sample transportation to follow posted delivery policies.

  • To observe the recommended 6-foot distancing, we will limit the number of customers in our receiving area at one time.

  • Once inside our facilities, it is important that all people entering the sample receiving area conduct hand sanitization before unloading samples and signing chain-of-custody forms. A hand sanitizing station has been set up inside the door of the sample receiving area for your convenience.

Please note that our staff continue to wear standard lab protective equipment (PPE), and our routine personal and facility sanitizing practices have been enhanced to occur with increased frequency.

Our field staff are observing any special requests that have been made regarding sample pick-ups and access to your facility. Additionally, field technicians will wear protective gear and observe proper sanitation and physical distancing practices. We firmly ask you to respect the enhanced safety measures of our field professional to protect their health and yours.

With everyone’s diligence we can ensure that essential laboratory services continue uninterrupted as we all do our part to protect the community and slow the spread of COVID-19.

Sincerely,

The Babcock Team
