Our Certifications

Babcock Laboratories was one of the first laboratories in the State of California to receive certification by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for the analysis of drinking water for public health protection. Since that initial certification, our accreditation has never lapsed. Today, our certifications include not only the microbiology of drinking water and wastewater, but also the complete inorganic and organic analysis of drinking water, wastewater, groundwater, soils and hazardous materials. 

Babcock Labs is approved for the testing of drinking water, wastewater, groundwater, soils and hazardous waste in the following fields: Bacteriology, Inorganic Chemistry, Toxic Chemical Elements, Organic Chemistry, and Extraction Tests. We are ELAP accredited (cert. #2698) through the California State Water Resources Control Board's Division of Drinking Water. 

We are DoD-ELAP accredited for PFAS under ANAB/ANSI ISO/IEC 17025 accredited (cert. #ADE-2825).

 

WA ELAP Accredited Lab

We are Washington ELAP Drinking Water analyses PFAS accredited through the Washington State Department of Ecology Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program.

HI ELAP Accredited Lab

We are Hawaii ELAP drinking water accredited through the State of Hawaii Department of Health State Laboratories Division.

NY ELAP Accredited Lab

We are New York drinking water PFAS accredited through the New York State Department of Health.

 

Guam Accredited Lab

ADEM (AL) Accredited Lab

We are Guam Drinking Water analyses accredited through the Guam Environmental Protection Agency.

We are Alabama Drinking Water analyses PFAS accredited through the Alabama Department of Environmental Management.

EPA UCMR 5 Approved Lab

We are fully approved by the EPA for all UCMR 5 analyses. We have been a part of the UCMR program since its inception (learn more).
