Is the Drought Drowned Out?: End of Drought Emergency and Release of Long-Term Conservation Framework

This month Governor Jerry Brown declared California’s drought-induced state of emergency officially over for the majority of the state. Even with the emergency called off, however, future drought remains a real threat to the Golden State. In response, California water agencies released a joint framework for long-term water conservation moving forward. Will water conservation become a way of life in California?
