Today, the Press Enterprise announced the 2018 Top Workplaces in the Inland Empire and Babcock Labs was ranked as a Top Workplace in the small business category. We believe this award serves as well-deserved praise of our employee owners who have made and continue to make Babcock Labs such a great place to work.
The Top Workplaces program was set up by Energage back in 2006 and is based on the belief that “the most successful companies are the ones that employees believe in.”
A company's designation and ranking as a Top Workplace is determined and calculated by Engage - a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement - based on employee responses to its tried and tested employee survey. Each year over a million people complete the survey about their respective organizations. Survey questions ask employees to rate the company on such topics as benefits, leadership, training, compensation, and workplace culture.
This is the second year in a row and third time overall that Babcock Labs has been named a Top Workplace since we began participating in the program four years ago. In 2014 Babcock Labs was recognized both as a Top Workplace and as a socially responsible company, placing 3rd in that year's Corporate Social Responsibility category.
