Effective April 3rd, all microbiology, COT, and pH samples will be couriered to Babcock Laboratories' Riverside location for analysis. All microbiology samples must be submitted on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday by 12:00 PM, 12:30 PM the latest. The lab courier will be scheduled to transport samples to Riverside at 1:30 PM.
Please collect non-potable microbiology samples between 10:00 AM and noon to allow adequate time for transportation, sample receipt, and initiation of the analytical process, and ensure sample analysis will meet regulatory holding times. Drinking water samples should be submitted the same day as collection. Samples submitted next day or more than 24 hours after collection may not meet holding times.
This laboratory schedule change is necessitated by unanticipated staffing changes and will remain in effect until further notice.
