 Our May TEAM Event titled “Endocrine Disruptors (EDCs), Pharmaceuticals & Personal Care Products (PPCPs): Actions, Communications and Prevention” was a huge success! This seminar was attended by 47 individuals from 30 different organizations. Attendees enjoyed an AWWA webcast, followed by a presentation from Deborah Boadway, Project Engineer for the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County. This seminar addressed the scientific work and communication strategies being deployed to address EDCs and PPCPs, as well as ways organizations can work to prevent these compounds from getting into our drinking water systems.
